1. General
These usage terms ("Terms") apply to the use of Lifestyle Monitors software: the Healthy Lifestyle Monitor App (including the Pro extensions) and the StressChecker Windows software. By downloading, installing or using our software, you agree to these Terms.

2. Our Software
Healthy Lifestyle Monitor (free)
- Type: Mobile App (iOS and Android)
- Available via: App Store and Google Play
- Purpose: Personal stress and relaxation monitoring using HRV measurements
- Features: Stress measurements, breathing exercises, journaling and personal insights.
HLM Pro / HLM Pro Sport
- Type: Extension for the Healthy Lifestyle Monitor App
- Available via: App Store, Google Play and our website
- Purpose: Professional use by coaches, therapists, counsellors and other professionals
- Features: Client management, advanced reports, data export and professional guidance functions.

StressChecker Windows Software
- Type: Windows software (part of the StressChecker Pro product)
- Available via: Download from our server (not via App Stores)
- Purpose: Professional stress measurement and analysis on Windows computers
- Features: HRV analysis, stress measurements, reports and stress management support.
Key Features:
- Fully designed for offline use
- Automatic update check at startup
- Installation on a maximum of 3 different laptops/desktops (centrally controlled)
- Unlimited number of user profiles (family, friends, colleagues)
- Print results or save as PDF
3. Health Data and Disclaimer
⚠️ Attention: Our software does not provide reliable measurement results for physical stress or relaxation measurements (using a heart rate monitor) for people with:
- Heart failure
- Frequent heart rhythm disturbances
- A pacemaker
- Taking heart medication that may cause rhythm disturbances
General Disclaimer:
- Our software is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment or prevention of diseases
- The measurement results are for informational purposes only
- Always consult a doctor for health complaints
- Lifestyle Monitors is not liable for decisions made based on the software results
4. Link between Client and Pro (Healthy Lifestyle Monitor)
HLM Pro users can invite clients to share their data. The following applies:
- The invitation is sent by email with a unique code
- The client must actively consent to the link in their own app
- The client can end the link at any time
- After ending the link, the Pro can no longer view the data
Responsibilities of the Professional:
- Ensure that the client understands and consents to the link
- Comply with data protection laws (GDPR)
- Do not share client data with third parties without consent
- Maintain professional standards regarding confidentiality
5. Right of Use and License
License Grant
Lifestyle Monitors grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the software for personal or professional purposes, depending on the software type and license.
Healthy Lifestyle Monitor (free)
- Free use for personal purposes
- Installation on unlimited number of personal devices
- No commercial use permitted
HLM Pro / HLM Pro Sport (Annual License)
- Valid for 1 year from activation date
- Automatic renewal (unless cancelled)
- Installation on unlimited number of devices of the same user
- To be used exclusively by the registered license holder
- Professional use within the license terms permitted
StressChecker (One-time Purchase, Lifetime Use)
- One-time payment for lifetime use
- Installation on a maximum of 3 different laptops or desktop PCs (centrally controlled)
- Create unlimited number of user profiles
- Strictly personal and non-transferable
Important – Keep Your License Code Safe!
Each StressChecker license code is unique. Lifestyle Monitors does not register which user owns which license code. Therefore, if you lose your license code, we cannot help you. Keep it safe!
6. HLM Pro License Terms
License Period
- The license period is 1 year
- The start date is the time of purchase confirmation
- Activation is done with the license code via the settings in the app
- The license is strictly personal and non-transferable
Automatic Renewal
- The license is automatically renewed for 1 year
- One month before the end date, you will receive an invoice by email for the new period
- Upon renewal, the prices valid from 1 January of the respective year apply
- Prices are set annually on 1 January and communicated via the invoice
Payment
- Payment is made exclusively by invoice
- The payment term is 14 days after the renewal date
Important – Consequences of Non-Payment:
If payment is not made within 14 days after the renewal date, the license agreement will be terminated. Access to the Pro area and all data will then be blocked. This access cannot be restored.
Create screenshots of data that is important to you before your license expires.
Cancellation
- Cancellation is not required; if payment is not made, the license ends automatically
- Early cancellation is possible (in writing)
- Access will be blocked within 5 business days after receipt of written cancellation
After Purchase You Receive
- HLM Pro Manual (PDF)
- License code for activation
- Pro code for linking with clients
Everything is sent by email to the address provided with the order.
Updates and Support
- Software updates are included during the license period at no additional cost
- Support is provided by email
- We aim to respond within 3 business days
7. Portals and Manuals
HLM Portal
- Accessible to all app users (free and Pro)
- Log in with your app credentials
- Access to the HLM Manual (PDF download)
StressChecker User Portal
- Only accessible via the StressChecker software itself (via button in the software)
- Contains manuals and guides
- Not directly accessible via the website
8. Prohibited Actions
When using our software, it is not permitted to:
- Use the software in a way that violates the rights of others
- Use the software for illegal or unauthorised purposes
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software
- Circumvent technical security measures
- Share your account or login details with third parties
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information
- Distribute viruses, malware or other harmful code
- Share or resell license codes without permission
9. Intellectual Property
All rights to the software, including copyrights, trademark rights and other intellectual property rights, belong to Lifestyle Monitors. You receive a right of use, not ownership of the software.
10. Changes
Lifestyle Monitors reserves the right to change these usage terms at any time. In case of significant changes, we will inform you by email or via the software. Continued use of the software after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Applicable Law
Dutch law applies to these usage terms. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Breda, the Netherlands.
