For yourself
Two instruments, one philosophy — at your own pace.
In a world full of advice, Lifestyle Monitors gives you instruments with which you explore for yourself how your daily life affects you — making visible what your sensing system often no longer perceives in the hectic pace.
We live in a world full of advice. Everyone tells you what you should do: exercise more, sleep better, less stress. But what works for you?
Lifestyle Monitors offers two browser instruments, each giving its own perspective on the same goal: getting to know yourself better. They are based on the Columbus Catalyst Code — an approach that makes awareness more important than willpower. Not by telling you what to do, but by mirroring what is.
The StressChecker measures your tension objectively through your pulse — a snapshot showing what is happening physically. The Healthy Lifestyle Monitor (HLM) builds daily awareness across four dimensions of your Inner Compass. Both work in your browser — no download needed.
Both instruments work with the same model. Your inner navigation system consists of four sources — when you listen to all four, your intuition emerges.
Sleep, energy, physical signals. What does your body say?
Mood, what touches you. Which feelings come by?
Patterns, beliefs. What do you think about yourself?
Values, integrity. Are you living in line with who you want to be?
What do you know when you listen to body, emotions, thoughts and conscience? That is your inner compass — the needle that points your direction.
Both instruments are tools to help you learn to read your Inner Compass. The goal is that you can eventually navigate yourself — resilient, flexible, independent. The scaffolding can then come down.
Both work in your browser. Both start from the Inner Compass. But how they help you differs.
Measure. Discover. Relax.
Get an objective picture of your tension in 90 seconds through heart rate variability (HRV). The Relax Index from 0–10 shows your current balance — new browser generation of the instrument established since 2010.
A heart rate monitor (USB or Bluetooth) is required for measurements.
To StressChecker →Learn to read your Inner Compass.
Build daily awareness through short morning measurements (max. 2 minutes). We have been developing the HLM since 2017 — first for iOS, and since 2024 also for Android. In summer 2026 it arrives as a new browser generation, with AI commentary and an integrated knowledge centre.
Optionally extendable with Relax Index measurement (same heart rate monitor as the StressChecker).
More about the HLM →Both are valuable — but one may suit better where you are right now. A simple guide to help you decide.
The StressChecker provides objective snapshots: what is my body doing right now? The HLM builds daily awareness: what do I do over time, and does it fit who I want to be?
Many users combine both: the HLM for daily reflection, the StressChecker for specific moments of tension or after an intervention. The StressChecker's heart rate monitor also works in the HLM for optional Relax Index measurements — you don't need to acquire anything new.
Whether you choose StressChecker, HLM or both — the end goal is always the same. You learn to read your own compass so well that you can carry on without the tools.
Both instruments work independently — you build insight and awareness at your own pace. With the guidance of a professional, patterns become visible that you overlook yourself, and you receive questions you wouldn't ask yourself. Both versions can therefore be linked to the Pro version of a coach, therapist or lifestyle professional.
